Users are being bombarded with ever more sources of information and it can be difficult for them to find exactly what they are looking for. Our Contentlytics recommendation and personalisation systems have been developed to help the end user with this task. The systems work by analysing user behaviour, or by analysing the content or both to identify the most appropriate materials to present to the user. The materials can be presented back via a specific website or publishing tool or utilise commonly available technologies such as RSS and RSS readers.
We believe that all sites that deliver content will, in the near future, have to implement a recommendation or personalisation system or face ever decreasing popularity as users abandon such sites in favour of those that can give them a more personalised experience.
Our systems have been implemented in a range of different scenarios from fine art, through scientific article recommendations to television program listings.
